Q. Could you please let our readers know about your company and product range?
A. Parqueterie Beau Soleil is a multigenerational family-owned company in existence since 1875. We promote ‘Made in France’ products and our raw material comes from sustainably harvested forests. Our workshop is historically recognized for the quality and diversity of their solid oak flooring used in the renovation of haussmanian buildings. We have developed sharp skills in engineering custom Hungarian Points, pattern panels and laminated flooring with thick facings, combining technicity and distortion stability benefits of the laminated floorings.
Q. It’s heartening to know that in today’s era of digitalization and automation you still value human touch while crafting your products. Can you explain us how you maintain fine balance between man and machine?
A. We always try to respect nature and hence we try to keep our crafts as close to the nature. These kinds of products are highly appreciated in France and all over the world.
Q. What is the main difference between varnished and oiled flooring?
A. The varnished floorings have a more matte aspect. This finishing allows a better resistance, while keeping a modern and smooth appearance. We have a range of samples to choose from. On the other hand, the oil-finished floorings collection reveals the natural and original charm of the wood. The oil finishing makes our product ‘live’ when you touch it, showing the depth of the finishing and revealing its temper.
Q. Which certifications make Parqueterie Beau Soleil stand apart from the rest?
A. We have PEFC label which guarantees that the wood we use comes from sustainably managed forests. The Parquet De France label guarantees that our products are made in France. We also NF certification that guarantees the professionalism and quality of our machining. Apart from this, we do have the EPV label which shows the state recognition distinguishing craftsmanship and industrial excellence.

Parqueterie Beau Soleil is a family-owned luxury French Oak Flooring producer since 1875. The company has 38 employees to create and produce NF parquets from 100% PEFC French woods in the workshop located in Saint- Amand-en-Puisaye (France). The raw material is sourced from a sawmill located in Nièvre, in the heart of the largest oak resource in France with the help of 40+ employees.
