A Multi-Layered Exhibition of Global Scale
Following a record-breaking 2024 edition that welcomed over 83,000 visitors from 117 countries, DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2025 is scaling new heights. This year, the exhibition expands not only in volume but also in depth, with its comprehensive display strategy reflecting both market demand and technological development. Spread across seven halls, the show integrates thematic and product-specific zones to ensure that every stakeholder—be it a supplier, designer, distributor, or contractor—finds relevant business opportunities and collaborative avenues. The 2025 edition is not merely a trade fair but an ecosystem convergence of manufacturing, sourcing, brand storytelling, sustainability efforts, and design intelligence.
FLOORTECH Asia: A Dedicated Pavilion for Technology
As an integral part of the 2025 edition, Hall 8.1 will host FLOORTECH Asia—a pavilion that is rapidly emerging as a benchmark in flooring technologies. Covering more than 20,000 square metres and featuring over 200 specialised exhibitors, this space will spotlight technologies cutting across the flooring supply chain—from raw materials and automated production systems to installation tools, adhesives, coatings, quality testing instruments, certification services, and performance-enhancing accessories. Exhibits will range from smart production equipment and novel underlayment materials to precision testing systems and software-driven design modules. Leading international and domestic brands such as Adesiv, AICA, Amphenol, Azumi, Bona, Bijlard, Berger–Seidle, Stauf, Woca and others are expected to showcase their latest offerings, making the pavilion a hotbed for real-time demonstrations and technical consultations.
Resilient Flooring Sector Strengthens its Presence
DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2025 continues to be the definitive space for hard flooring, with a renewed emphasis on resilient products. Spread across four halls, the hard flooring section will present a wide array of surface materials, including resilient vinyl, rubber, laminate, wood, cork, bamboo, and outdoor flooring. Notably, Halls 7.1 and 7.2 will feature over 400 exhibitors across 50,000 square metres, showcasing everything from PVC rolls and luxury vinyl tiles to artificial turf, sports flooring, and engineered wood panels. The resilient flooring showcase includes market leaders like Coretec, CFL, Gerflor, Kronospan, Prime Forest, Swisskrono, and Uny Floors. South Korean giants such as Daejin, KTE, KDF, and Yousoung, alongside Chinese majors like BBL, Beamy, Elegant (Eletile), Huali, Jinka, Kentier, Kingdom, Layo, Novalis, and others, will be in attendance. Also returning are key European technology licensors Unilin Technologies, Välinge, and i4F—whose patented locking systems and surface innovations continue to redefine installation practices worldwide.
Commenting on the participation, Jan Dossche, President of Coretec Floors, remarked, “We’re thrilled to be part of DOMOTEX 2025, where we’ll celebrate Coretec’s 10th anniversary. We’ll present our new unified vision—focused on enhancing both dealer and customer experience through lifelike decors and smart technology, bringing the look and warmth of real wood without its traditional limitations.”
Carpets and Global Participation Add Texture to the Event
Beyond hard flooring, the carpet segment at DOMOTEX asia continues to draw strong international and domestic participation. This year’s carpet showcase will see the return of the Indian Pavilion, facilitated by the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC), along with notable Chinese companies like Artists Carpets, Haima, Kaili, Ruixin, Shanhua, and Voxflor. Global stalwarts such as Almas, Associated Weavers (AW), Mahesh Carpets, Ragolle, and Standard Carpets will also participate. Carpet machinery and technology brands including Card-Monroe, ExxonMobil, Freudenberg, Groz-Beckert, Staubli, Tuftco, and Zimmer will round off the segment with solutions targeting automation, tufting, dyeing, and sustainable fabric treatments.

The Market Outlook: China’s Role and Industry Expectations
Aida Cuko
According to Aida Cuko, International Business Director at Globus Events (co-organiser of the event), “China remains a pivotal player both in manufacturing and in flooring consumption. The real estate recovery and government-led trade-in programmes have fuelled growth and investor confidence. While Asian brands are visible globally, the scale, precision, and innovation at a China-hosted exhibition like DOMOTEX are unrivalled. We are committed to making this platform not only a sourcing destination but also a dynamic arena for networking, collaboration and market discovery.”
